Yeah, so remember that weird Masochist Magician journal I did? SO now I have three pictures of him/me/it. Concepts, really.

Three pictures. Three characters. Delta. Huh.

3 Doodles

Three doodles. I know that they are light. That is because they are DOODLES. So don't yell at me to ink them, please. If I get good pictures of the characters, I will ink those.

Apparently, my computer has the perfect brightness to look at my drawings. And no one's else does. So I'll do something about it, I promise. Someday.

Anyway, I had a completely random thought the other day, and it inspired these. Ever wanted to play a 2D, high-action side-scroller where a graffiti tagger, a disgruntled office worker, and a transvestite prostitute fight their way through a horde of British street gang zombies?

Well, neither do I. BUT I have a real desire to do something with the idea. And I think a game would be the best medium for it. So you can expect more doodles (or can you?) and concept sketches to show up from time to time.

Additionally, I'm going to help out a friend with some guest comics for his site. These ones may be funny.

Blue Magic is the strangest idea for a magic system I've come across, and at the same time one of the most intriguing. For those of you unaware of the concept, the idea behind it can be summed up as "Experience = Knowledge." If you are a practitioner of the Azure Art, you learn new magical powers by being exposed to them; in most cases, this means a lot of pain as you get blasted time and time again with Fire 3 just to learn it.

As you might imagine, the Turquoise Thaumaturgists are a hardy bunch. And if they aren't when the pick up the practice, well, they better be by the time they're done there training. But a Blue Mage's training is never really over, is it? You're always out there, looking for new powers to learn and experience.

I think that the Cerulean Casters must be the dare-devils among wizards, the thrill seekers. Always seeking anything new to try, whether it is magic or mundane. I think you'd need to be, y'know? Why else would you choose to seek magic through getting hit with it, rather than learning it in a (relatively) safe manner in an academy or something?

No, I suppose there really wasn't a point to this. If you pay attention to Chocolate-Panacea, or TwilightUnicorn, they occasionally mention some kind of game or something that we're working on. I happen to be the afore-mentioned Blue Magic user in the game, so I was just musing on what it would actually be like to be that profession.

Good thing I'm not THAT much of a whiner.

One-Hundred views. I guess that's some kinda milestone. Why, I wonder? What makes 1-0-0 so special? Perhaps because it is the first of the triple-digit numbers? But that doesn't seem right; in numbering systems that aren't this one, 100 still seems to be quite a revered number.

Also, what's up with the number 50? Why is 50 so special? Halfway between 0 and 100, just kinda there... It's like celebrating Wednesday. And not for Odin.

Anyway, no still no 'art' right now... Maybe soon? I know, I know, you're just DEVASTATED. Haw, well, maybe soon, maybe soon.

Ptth... Journal.

Yeah, so. New art, still need to post that re-done version of Maggie of the Turks with the less outrageous chin. Hopefully more stuff will be up soon; I refuse to post stuff for the sake of it, so it may be slower than first I anticipated. Of course, this is coming from the guy who, in 6th grade, said "I'll be a comic book artist by the end of the week! I've got a book on how to draw this stuff." Perhaps I just shouldn't anticipate these things...

I've been oddly sore these past few days- perhaps it was all the punching? Eh, doesn't matter. I'll be fine by week's end (like, Monday). I've had some comic ideas as of late. Hoping to put them into visual form soon. Yeah. You may see it soon. Stuff about dungeons. Evil masterminds. James Bond references. Fun stuff.
